How to complete/submit an existing record

If you need to complete a record that has a status of In-Progress, please follow the following steps:

1. First, click on the Incidents option from the menu on the left.

2. Next, find the record you would like to complete. Notice that the record we will be completing in this article has the REFERENCE number 113635, and has a STATUS of In-Progress

3. Click the record's Action button on the left, and then click on the View/Edit option.

4. Now click on the Submit Record tab.

5. The submission details automatically be populated with your account details for you. Simply click the Save and Finish button to complete the record.

Please note the following:

  • If information is missing on any of the incident tabs, and you click the Save and Finish button, a pop up will inform you of what is missing. The record cannot be completed whilst mandatory information is missing.

  • A record cannot be completed if any of it's actions have a status of In-Progress. All actions will need to be completed or archived to allow completion to take place.

If all required information is in place, you will see a confirmation popup like this:

Simply click the Continue button finish.

6. You have now successfully completed/submitted the incident record in the system. The status of the record with REFERENCE number 113635 now has a STATUS of Complete
