The Health Surveillance section is Optional, and can be used to suggest/highlight health checks to detect early signs of ill-health. For example, if a worker is welding on a daily basis, a routine eye test as a measure of health surveillance could help to spot any early signs of eye deterioration.

To add Health Surveillance entries to your assessment, click in the large editing area and add your health surveillance notes as required. You can add images, tables, hyperlinks and you can change text font, size, colour and alignment. Some of these features have been demonstrated in the video below:

Our Advice: If you are unsure if you need to add any Health Surveillance, click HERE to visit the 'What is Health Surveillance?' section of the HSE website.

Please Note: If no notes have been added in this step, the Health Surveillance section will not appear on the published assessment.
