Please Note: The Templates feature will need to be switched on by one of your company’s Super Users. If the Templates option is not switched on, the Templates option will not be shown in the Assessments menu list. Please contact your company’s system manager for more information.
The Templates area of the system allows you create template assessments that contain the ‘bare bones’ of an assessment. Users will then be able to create an assessment from a template, which will pre-populate their new assessment with the content from the template assessment.
To load up the Templates area of the system, first click the Assessments option in the main menu on the left hand side of the screen.
Next, click on Template Assessments.
The templates area looks and operates in a similar way to the Assessments area.
To create a new template, simply click the Create Template button.
This will load the Template Assessment Wizard. See below:
All sections within the template wizard are identical to the assessment wizard. This has been discussed in detail starting from the Using the Assessment Wizard article.
When you reach the end of the template assessment wizard, you will see an assessment checklist. This will show the current status of the template assessment. You can click any of the checklist entries to revisit the associated wizard step to add missing data or to make changes. Click the Confirm and Continue button to progress to the draft viewing page.
You are able to view your current template in published assessment format as a draft assessment. To view a draft, click the View Draft button.
