Who this is for: All users.
The path an audit takes:
Stage | What happens |
Template | Added from the library or built in the Template Builder, then published |
Planned (optional) | Audit requirements set what must be audited where and how often, and the Coverage view and Audit Plan show what is due — see Setting audit requirements for a location [LINK] and Viewing the Audit Plan [LINK] |
Scheduled | An audit record is created with a date and an assigned auditor |
In Progress | The auditor opens the record and begins work |
Blocked (if raised) | An issue is stopping the audit; publishing is paused until the owner resolves it |
For Review (if required) | Sent to a technical reviewer, who approves or rejects with feedback |
Completed | Published. The record becomes immutable |
Signed off (if a sign-off list was set) | The people on the report sign-off list are asked to sign the report — see Adding a report sign-off list [LINK] |
Findings | Every finding raised is listed in Audit Findings |
Corrective actions | Assigned from findings, tracked in the Actions module |
Finding closed | When all corrective actions are done — and verified, if verification is required |
Statuses you will see on a record: Scheduled, Overdue, In Progress, Blocked, For Review, Completed, Archived.
Findings have their own statuses: Open while corrective actions are being worked, For Closure while they wait for verification, and Closed.
There is no Cancelled status. A scheduled audit that is not going ahead is either rescheduled or deleted.
