Scheduling problems

The common blockers when creating a scheduled audit.

Written by Caim Hermoso

Who this is for: Anyone scheduling audits.

“I picked a date in the past by mistake.” Nothing stops you, and there is no warning. The audit appears as Overdue straight away. Use Edit Audit to change the date.

“The auditor I need is not in the list.” They do not have Conduct Audits — ask an administrator to change their audit role. Or your organisation checks competence for this standard and they are not verified for it — see 10.13.

“The location I need is not in the picker.” You do not have access to that location. Ask an administrator.

“I chose the wrong template.” Select Change on the Audit Details step, or go Back to Find Template.

“I cannot schedule anything at all.” Check three things: you have Schedule Audits; scheduled audits are enabled in Audit Settings; and you have audits left in your allowance.

“I scheduled it and now I need to change the auditor.” Use Edit Audit while it is still Scheduled, or Reassign Audit once it has started.
