Inside the audit wizard: the steps and progress bar

How the audit wizard is laid out.

Written by Caim Hermoso

Who this is for: Needs Conduct Audits, and you must be an assigned auditor on the audit.

The audit wizard opens full-screen. Its steps are shown across the top:

#

What you do

1

Audit Details

2

Previous Findings

Review findings from earlier audits and record how each stands now — see Reviewing previous findings before an audit [LINK]

3

Checklist

Work through the clauses, record responses and evidence, raise findings

4

Findings

Review every finding raised, and add any that are not tied to a clause you answered

5

Audit Summary

Write the overall narrative conclusion

6

Linked Documents

Attach supporting files for the audit as a whole

7

Review & Publish

Check the Audit Checklist and publish

Audit Summary and Linked Documents appear only if the template includes them, so some audits show fewer steps.

Each step shows a green tick when complete and a warning when required fields are missing.

Around the steps:

  • Total Score and Risk Rating tiles at the top, where the template uses scoring or risk rating.

  • The Audit Overview panel on the right — audit owner and last saved time — with the History Overview and Subscribers below it, and COI Declarations, Issues (with a count of open issues), Save and Exit in the toolbar at the top.

  • Save, Save and Previous and Confirm and Continue at the foot of each step, and Exit at the top.
