Working through the questionnaire

How the main body of the audit works.

Written by Caim Hermoso

Who this is for: The assigned auditor.

The questionnaire is the Checklist step of the audit wizard. It follows the clause structure defined by the template: sections appear as collapsible panels with blue headers, and within each, clauses are rows in a table.

For each clause you:

  1. Read the requirement.

  2. Record your response in whichever columns the template enables.

  3. Record evidence and notes.

  4. Select +Findings on the row if the clause is not met, or if you have an observation, an improvement or good practice to record.

No answer raises a finding by itself. Marking a clause NC or giving it a low score does not create a finding. Every finding is raised by you, with +Findings.

Working order. You do not have to work top to bottom. Sections collapse and expand freely, so an audit that spans several days or several areas of a site can be worked in whatever order suits the visit. Select Save before you leave the step.
