Working with inline finding cards

Reading and editing findings without leaving the questionnaire.

Written by Caim Hermoso

Who this is for: The assigned auditor.

Once raised, a finding appears as a card directly beneath its clause row.

Collapsed it shows a compact pill row: the finding reference, a type and severity badge, the first part of the statement, and a chevron to expand.

Expanded it shows a coloured header bar — red for a nonconformity, amber for an observation, green for an opportunity for improvement — with the finding reference and Edit, Remove and Close controls, then the Statement, Objective Evidence and Auditor’s Notes.

For nonconformities the expanded card also carries action rows for Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.

Edit reopens the finding modal. Remove deletes the finding — possible while the audit is in progress, but not once it is published.
