Who this is for: Any user.
“The audit won’t open for me.” Only the audit’s assigned auditors can conduct it. If you are not one of them, the audit owner, or someone with Schedule Audits, must add you using Reassign Audit on the audit’s ⋮ menu.
“A Conflict of Interest Declaration appears and I can’t get past it.” You must answer the declaration and tick the confirmation before the audit opens. Select Sign & continue. See 6.16.
“I am the auditor but I can’t publish.” Check the status. A Blocked audit can be worked on but not published until the owner resolves the issue. A For Review audit is with the technical reviewer.
“The audit is read-only.” It has been published. Completed audits cannot be edited. Findings can still be worked on from the Audit Findings table.
“I can see the record but not conduct it.” You have View Audit Records but not Conduct Audits. Audit Viewer is read-only by design.
“I could conduct audits yesterday.” Your audit role may have changed, or your trial may have ended — after a trial ends, existing audits become read-only and no new ones can be started.
“The auditor has left the company.” The audit owner reassigns it with Reassign Audit. There is no self-service takeover — this is intentional, so audits cannot quietly change hands.
