Who this is for: Needs Manage Findings.
Open Audits → Audit Findings.
Open the ⋮ menu on the finding row.
Choose what you need:
Option | What it does |
View Finding | Opens the finding read-only: statement, evidence, notes, clause, parent audit, root cause and corrective action status |
Edit Finding | Opens the finding for editing |
View Audit Record | Opens the audit the finding came from |
Conduct Root Cause Analysis | Adds or updates the root cause analysis — see 7.5. Shown as View Root Cause Analysis once one exists. |
Assign Corrective Action | Opens the finding’s Corrective Actions panel — see 7.10. Shown as View Corrective Actions once actions exist. |
What you cannot change. The finding statement and evidence are part of the published audit record. The audit itself is immutable once published; what you work on here is the finding’s resolution.
If this doesn’t work
No edit options — you have View Findings but not Manage Findings.
You want to delete the finding — not possible once the parent audit is completed.
