Who this is for: Anyone with access to the Actions module.
Corrective actions raised from audits are ordinary records in the shared Actions module — the same place as actions from incidents and risk assessments. They are not held separately.
To see only audit actions:
Open the Actions module.
Filter Action Type to Audit Corrective Action.
Each action is linked to the audit and to the specific finding it was raised from, so you can always trace back.
Actions use the standard Actions statuses:
Status | Meaning |
Incomplete | The work is not finished |
Overdue | The target date has passed and the work is not finished |
Completed | The work is done |
Everything about the action itself — owner, target date, sub-tasks, attachments, completion — is managed in Actions.
What a completed action does to its finding. When every action on a finding is Completed, the finding either closes or, where closure verification is required for its type, moves to For Closure. An overdue action never closes a finding: it stays Open until the action is Completed.
Notifications for actions — the owner being told an action has been assigned, and the audit owner being told one has closed — are set on the Notifications tab of Audit Settings.
