Publishing an audit

The final step that makes the audit a permanent record.

Written by Caim Hermoso

Who this is for: Needs Conduct Audits, and you must be an assigned auditor.

  1. Clear the Audit Checklist on the Review & Publish step — see 8.1 — and select Confirm and Continue.

  2. Under Audit Information, confirm the Audit Owner.

  3. Add optional Comments — up to 270 characters.

  4. Set the Report Inclusions toggles — see 8.3.

  5. Use View Report to preview the report as it will be published.

  6. Select Publish Audit.

  7. Confirm at the prompt: “Publish this audit? Publishing completes the audit and locks it — findings and responses can no longer be edited.”

The audit moves to Completed. The report is available from the audit’s ⋮ menu in Audit Records.

Preview before you publish. Once published, the audit cannot be edited or unlocked. View Report is your last chance to catch a mistake.

If the template requires a technical review, you will see Request Review instead of Publish Audit. See 8.4.
