Viewing a published audit report

Reading the finished report.

Written by Caim Hermoso

Who this is for: Needs View Audit Reports. Completed audits only.

  1. Open Audits > Audit Records.

  2. Find the completed audit.

  3. ⋮ > View Audit Report.

The report opens full-screen and contains:

  • Header and metadata — title, reference, template and version used, dates, owner, auditors, location

  • Scope and plan — Objectives, Boundaries and Exclusions, and an Audit Plan card with the sampling, logistics and expected-outputs notes and the plan link, where the template includes them

  • The questionnaire — every clause with its response and the Areas Assessed record

  • Finding cards — each with its statement and evidence, plus root cause (purple) and corrective action (green) sub-sections where included

  • The audit summary — the auditor’s narrative conclusion

  • Limitations and Auditee Response — after the audit summary, where the template includes them and they were filled in

  • The Previous Findings Review — each previous finding reviewed, its outcome, whether it was carried into scope, and the auditor's note, where included — see Previous findings in the published report [LINK]

  • The sign-off sheet — name, role, signature and date signed for everyone on the sign-off list, when the audit has one — see Chasing, cancelling and tracking sign-offs [LINK]

The report records which template version was used, so you can always tell what the audit was run against even if the template has since changed.
