Who this is for: Scheduling needs Schedule Audits (Audit Manager and Audit Administrator by default). [CHECK: Export is not shown to every user who can view Coverage; confirm which permission shows it]
Once you've found a gap in the Coverage view, you can act on it without leaving the page.
Scheduling an audit from a cell
Click the cell to open its detail.
Select Schedule audit. Create New Audit opens at the Audit Details step, with the location and a template for that standard already filled in. The template chosen is the first match alphabetically, which may not be the one you want — check it, and use Change to pick a different template.
Complete the remaining steps as usual.
Note: The normal competence check on auditors still applies. The cell updates once that audit is completed.
The cell detail also has Edit requirement, and its History lists earlier audits for that location and standard.
Exporting the matrix
Select Export in the Coverage toolbar to download an Excel file (.xlsx) of the matrix as it is currently filtered. It has one row per location and standard, with the location tree indented, and the columns Location, Critical, Standard, Required, Coverage, Frequency (months), Last audited, Next due and Last result. Locations with no requirement rows aren’t included.
Adding the Audit Coverage widget
On your dashboard, select Add Widget.
Find Audit Coverage and select Add To Dashboard. If it is already on your dashboard, the card shows Already Added.
The widget, headed AUDIT COVERAGE, shows your coverage % as a ring, how many required audits are up to date (for example “1 of 8 required audits up to date”) and how many need attention. Below that is a count for each status — Covered, Due, Never audited, In progress, Overdue for re-audit and Awaiting template — and the Total required audits. Select View coverage → to open the Coverage view. Locations with no requirements are left out rather than scored as zero.
If this doesn't work
There's no Schedule audit button — you need Schedule Audits.
The cell hasn't changed after scheduling — it updates when the audit is completed, not when it's scheduled.
There's no Export button — your role doesn't include exporting from Coverage.
