Who this is for: Anyone who can view the Coverage view. Scheduling from the plan needs Schedule Audits.
The Audit Plan shows which audits are due over a period, so you can see the workload ahead and schedule in good time.
Opening the plan
Go to Audits > My Audit Templates > Coverage.
Select View Audit Plan.
Under Plan ahead, choose 6 months, 1 year (the default) or 3 years. You can also filter by Standard.
The plan covers your header location and its sublocations, and shows the date range at the top. Items are grouped by month. A badge shows whether the plan is Draft, Approved or Re-approval needed — see Approving the Audit Plan [LINK].
How the plan is worked out
Each item is projected from its requirement's frequency and the last completed audit: the next due date is the last completed date plus the frequency, repeating. Audits you have already scheduled are merged in, not duplicated.
Each item shows its date, the location and standard, and the template. Labels show its status, such as Projected or Never audited, plus Moved from if its date was moved and Changed — review if its requirement changed since the plan was approved.
Scheduling from the plan
Find the item.
Select Schedule audit. Create Audit opens with the template, location and planned date filled in.
Complete the wizard as usual.
Note: The plan only reads audits and requirements. It doesn't change how scheduling, conducting or publishing work.
If this doesn't work
The plan says Nothing planned — no audit requirements have been set yet. See Setting audit requirements for a location [LINK].
An audit you expect is missing — check a requirement exists for that location and standard.
There's no Schedule audit button — you need Schedule Audits.
