Signing an audit report

What to do when you're asked to sign an audit report.

Written by Caim Hermoso

Who this is for: Anyone named on a sign-off list.

When you're added to an audit's sign-off list, you're asked to sign the report once it's published.

Signing the report

  1. Open the email or the notification under the bell icon. Both open the sign-off page.

  2. Review the report.

  3. Choose how to sign: use your saved signature, draw one, or upload an image.

  4. Read the consent line, which begins “By signing this document with an electric signature…”.

  5. Select Accept and Sign.

Your status changes to Signed, with the date.

Signing works the same way as signing an assessment.

Note: Your signature is stored with this audit. If you change your saved signature later, this report keeps the one you signed with.

You can open this report even if you can't normally see audits at that location.

If this doesn't work

  • You can't find the request — check your email and the bell icon. Ask the audit owner whether the audit has been published.

  • You have no saved signature — the page shows “No digital signature found!”. Draw or upload one instead.
