System Error Tells me Incident Information is Incomplete, But I Already Completed Every Section

Due to the way web browsers work with online software, you may need to refresh your screen to clear errors

When updating incidents in your system account, you may come across one of the following errors:

1: Activity Information is Incomplete

2: Please complete the following areas.

If this is the case, the system will highlight which information is missing and you must simply fill it in to continue.

However, this error can occur even when you have entered each piece of information correctly.

This is likely due to a browser caching issue and is easily rectified:

1: First, try pressing F5 on your keyboard. This will refresh certain data on the web page, and hopefully the data that the system thinks is missing.

2: If that doesn't work, try pressing Ctrl-F5 at the same time. This will force your web browser to clear its cached data for this site and force a reload of every single piece of data on the web page.

3: If you're still unable to complete your incident, you can completely flush the browsers cache, and delete all saved cookies and temporary internet files kept by the browser. This forces the web browser to renew it's saved information for every web page you have ever visited, meaning you will need to reenter your passwords and accept cookies once again.

However, it will rectify this problem 95% of the time. Follow these steps to flush the browser cache and cookies:

1: Depending on your web browser, open the menu by clicking the three dots, the cog, or the hamburger icon in the top right of your browser window:

2: Now, click Settings.

3: When the settings tab opens, click inside the search bar and type Cache or Clear, and then click to open the Clear browsing data tab:

4: Now, add a tick to the check boxes for Browsing history, Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files and then click Clear Data:

Please be aware: The images in this article are screenshots of the Chrome browser. If you are using a different browser, it will look slightly different but the process is almost identical.
