If you find there are control elements associated with a hazard which you feel are not needed on your assessment, you can remove them by following these steps:
1: Ensure you're looking at the right section; Section 4: Task Hazards & Controls, and then click Expand Details on the hazard you wish to remove PPE symbols from.
Please note: To perform these same actions in Section 5: General Controls, skip this first step:
2: Now, select the bin icon to the right of the symbols you wish to remove:
3: If you are creating a new assessment, continue working through the Assessment Wizard. If you are editing an existing assessment, you can go to Section 9: Review & Publish, review the assessment details, and then click Confirm and Continue.
4: And, finally, click Publish to republish your assessment:
