Enabling Templates (Risk Assessment Settings)

Please Note: The System Settings area can only be accessed by users with Super User access or permission from a Custom Role.

To allow users to access the Templates area of the system, the templates option first needs to be enabled.

To get to the Templates area, click the Settings option in the main menu on the left hand side of the screen.

Next, click the Risk Assessment Settings option, and then click the Publish Options tab:

To turn the Templates feature on or off, click the Enable Assessment Templates switch, and then click the Save button to update your settings.

You also have an option to Restrict Assessment Creation From Templates. When switched on, users that do not have permission to create new templates will only be able to create new assessments from an existing template. To turn this feature on or off, click the Restrict Assessment Creation From Templates switch, and again click the Save button to update your settings.

Once the templates feature is switched on, users can access it via the Templates option that appears in the Assessments menu at the top of the screen. See below:
