If you or any of your team members have made any SDS requests for Sevron to obtain and add a substance to the SDS Library, or you have uploaded an SDS to the system, you can view a list of SDS request you have made.

A quick way to view them from the system’s home page is by clicking the Yellow SDS Updates legend entry below the coloured bar chart in the Substances board.

This will load the SDS Requests area of the system.

Our Advice: You can also get the SDS Requests area by clicking the Substances option in the menu down the left hand side of your screen, and then clicking the SDS Requests option in the substance area.

The SDS Requests area shows a list of outstanding SDS requests made yourself, and those made by other team members in your company. These requests will be processed by Sevron, and when the SDS of a request has been added to the SDS library, that request will disappear from the SDS Requests list respectively.

To view an outstanding request, click on the View Request Details icon next to it.

This will show you the details of the SDS that has been requested. The main request details are unchangeable; however, if it is a request you have made, you can modify the Supplier details by clicking the Green Edit icon next to the supplier field. To communicate with Sevron and send them additional information, add a message in the white Please write your message box, and then click the Send Message button.

Note: Any correspondence between yourself and Sevron will be displayed below the request details section.

Some requests will have a third icon next to it, signifying that Sevron have responded to your request with a message. Click the Unread Response icon to view this message, along with all existing messages.

You can answer a pending response from Sevron in the same way described above.

Cancelling SDS Requests

To cancel an outstanding request, click the Cancel Request icon next to it, and then click the Cancel button on the confirmation dialogue that appears.

Please Note: You will only be able to cancel requests that you have made. You would need to have additional system permissions to cancel requests made by other users.
