Please Note: The System Settings area can only be accessed by users with Super User access or permission from a Custom Role.

In the General Settings area, you can enable Low Bandwidth Mode to cater for system users that have a limited connection speed to the internet.

To get to the General Settings area, start by clicking the Settings option in the main menu on the left hand side of the screen.

Next, click the General Settings option:

When the Low Bandwidth Mode is switched on, some features will be disabled to help speed of system page loads – for instance, it will switch off the assessment preview whilst using the assessment wizard, which then stops it from loading and in turn speeds up the system load time.

To enable Low Bandwidth Mode, simply click the switch to turn it on, and then click the Save button next to it.

Our Advice: Although the Low Bandwidth Mode option will disable a number of features that are not directly needed, the system does still need to load some large, mandatory information. Because of this, you may still experience slow functionality due to the limitations of your internet speed.
