When we occasionally update the mechanics of our system's functionality, or when we modify our system in some way, you may experience an error code. This error code will indicate the type of issue you have found. A brief overview of the most common error codes have been outlined below:
Error code 401 – Unauthorized: If you see this error, it could be that your login session with the system has timed out. Holding the CTRL key and pressing F5, or logging out and back in again solves most of these issues.
Error code 403 – Forbidden: If you see this error, it means that for some reason your computer is unable to access the page information it has requested. The main cause of this error is down to server permissions and restrictions.
Error code 404 – Not Found: This error means that the requested website information was not found on our system's server. It could be that this information no longer exists or this information has been moved to a new address without notice. You may experience the 404 error if you trying to view a missing SDS file.
Error code 500 – Internal Server Error: If you see this error, the server has experienced an unexpected error. This can happen due to a number of technical reasons, and a fix will need to be put in place by the Sevron development team.
Error code 503 – Service Unavailable: A 503 error can happen if you try to access the Sevron system during a scheduled maintenance routine, or if we experience an unusual amount of high user connections.
If you experience any of the above error codes, please contact Sevron via the Live Chat, send us an email to support@sevron.co.uk, or give us a quick call on 01772 450 920.
Please note: It helps us to fix errors more quickly if you can provide details of exactly what you were trying to do when you saw one of these error codes.
Knowing the process you went through allows us to try to duplicate the error and makes locating and squashing the reason for it occurring much more quick and effective.
