Recording your competencies in My Auditor Profile

How auditors upload their own certificates for a manager to verify.

Written by Caim Hermoso

Who this is for: Anyone who can conduct audits.

Your organisation may check that auditors are competent for a standard before they can be assigned to audit it. My Auditor Profile shows the standards you need a competency record for, and lets you upload your own evidence.

  1. Open your profile menu (top right) and select My Details.

  2. Under your name, select My Auditor Profile.

  3. For each standard listed, upload your certificate or add a link to it, with its expiry date.

What happens next. Anything you upload is saved as Pending. It does not count until an Audit Manager or Audit Administrator verifies it in the Auditor Register. Once verified, it shows as verified and you can be assigned to audits against that standard.

“No standards need a competency record from you at the moment.” Your organisation is not checking competence for any standard, or none that applies to you. There is nothing to do.

Keep it in date. When a certificate expires, the competency shows as Overdue and stops counting. Upload the renewed certificate before the expiry date.
