Please Note: This area can only be accessed by users with the correct system permissions.

The Custom Incident Types (Incident/Accident only) tab is one of three tabs located in the Incident Settings area. This area allows you to create and add custom Accident Types and Incident Types for your Incident/Accident records.

To add a custom Accident Type, simply click the + Add Accident Type button.

The Add new type of Accident window will appear. Simply type in the Accident Type Name to be added, and then click the Add button.

Once a new accident name has been added, they will appear in the table. See below:

You can edit existing accident names, or remove them altogether by clicking the relevant icon next to it.

Our Advice - Any custom accident types created can be selected in the Identify Accident type drop down list on the Incident Details (first form) of an Incident/Accident record. See below for more information.

To add a custom Incident Type, click the + Add Accident Type button.

The Add New Incident Type window will appear. Type in the Type of Incident Name, Investigation Level, Type of Incident and Investigation Information to be added. Then choose whether or not the new type should be included in the report charts by ticking the Include Incidents of this type in reports option. To add the new incident type, click the Add button.

Once completed, the new accident type will appear in the table. See below:
