When raising a request for a new SDS, if the company has the approved list on and the user does not have permissions to manage the approved list, the request must first be accepted internally before being sent to Sevron.

The person who receives this request is the one who has the permissions to manage the approved list.

These requests all go into the "Requests Awaiting Decision" area, where each request can be viewed and either be accepted or declined. Approval of the uploaded SDS will add it to the Approved Library whilst pending Approval from Sevron. If no SDS was uploaded, you can then request this from Sevron. Meanwhile, if the wrong SDS was uploaded, you can decline it. You also have the choice to select from the SDS that are already in the Sevron SDS library.

There is now an internal notification sent to all the users who have permission to manage the approved list.

If you wish to give someone this permission and you are a Super User then please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Settings -> User & Locations -> Roles & Permissions

2. Find the role you wish to edit, select Actions -> Edit Role (Please note, you can only edit custom roles, if you wish to assign them a new role please see the article on "How to alter a users role")

3. Under the Substances heading there is a toggle for "Manage Approved SDS", toggle this on and press save.

4. The next time the user logs in they will now have the additional permission to manage the approved list.

If a user cannot raise a request, this could either be down to permissions or that they have reached their request limit. The user must have the permissions to submit a request to be able to complete the process.
