Attaching linked documents

Adding supporting files to the audit as a whole.

Written by Caim Hermoso

Who this is for: The assigned auditor.

Documents are added one at a time.

  1. Go to the Linked Documents step.

  2. Select Add Linked Document.

  3. Give the document a Linked Document Name — this is what appears in the table, so make it descriptive.

  4. Choose the file with Click to Upload, or drag and drop it onto the upload area.

  5. Save, and repeat for each further document.

Accepted files: images, PDF, TXT, CSV, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, up to 20 MB each.

Because the table identifies documents by the name you type rather than the filename, name them for the reader: Fire alarm service certificate, Aug 2026 rather than scan_0043.

Linked documents are advisory on the publish checklist — you can publish an audit without any. Findings evidence is not advisory; where the template requires it, it blocks publication.
