Who this is for: Needs Manage Findings.
Audits conducted by a certification body, a client or a consultant can be brought into Safety365 so their findings are tracked alongside your own.
Which route? Import the report as an audit, as described here, when you need to track its findings. If you only need to keep the file, upload it to the standard in the Standards & Regulations register instead — see Adding certificates, external reports and documents to a standard [LINK].
Select Create New → Audits → Audit Finding. This opens Upload Audit Report, a three-step flow:
Step | What you do |
1 — Upload Report | Attach the report. PDF only · Max 25 MB. Next stays disabled until a PDF is chosen |
2 — Audit Details | Record what the audit was and who carried it out |
3 — Add Findings | Enter the findings from the report — see 9.8 |
The report itself is the starting point: have the PDF to hand before you begin.
Step 2 — Audit Details:
Field | Required |
Audit Title | Yes |
Audit Reference | Editable — always, regardless of your reference setting |
Regulation / Standard | No |
Audit Type | No |
Audit Date | No |
Lead Auditor | No |
Location / Scope | No |
An audit record is created with type Imported Audit and status Completed. It is not linked to a template and has no questionnaire — findings management is fully available, but you cannot edit it through a questionnaire. Imported audits don't count towards coverage — see Why is a location showing as not covered? [LINK].
This counts as one audit against your allowance.
