How Can We Help You?

Here are answers to frequently asked questions.

  • How do I manage Sevron’s Global Templates?

  1. Turn on Sevron Template Assessments (Super User Permission Only) to enable the feature. In addition, please make sure you have the Enable Assessment Templates switched on, too.

2. Once the feature has been enabled in the settings, go to the Assessments page and then select the Template Assessments tab.

3. Within the Template Assessments area, you will see a toggle button, Show Sevron Templates. When this is turned on, the Sevron template assessments will be visible in the template list.

4. You will have three actions to choose from with the Sevron templates provided: View Template; Create Assessment from Template; and, Copy Template. However, please note that only if your role has permission enabled can you do all three actions.

  • Who can edit Sevron’s global templates?

All users with COSHH access can use the templates. However, they can only edit the templates if they have copied the template first to their own template assessments.

  • Viewers – Can only view the template

  • Managers/Super Users – Can create an assessment from the template as well as copy the template into the templates area.

Any custom role which has the Manage Template permission will be able to copy the templates.

  • How do I create an assessment from Sevron’s Global Templates?

From the three options in the Actions Dropdown, select Create Assessment From Template. Users will then be redirected to the Assessment Wizard to start their new assessment from the chosen Sevron template.

They will be able to create a copy of the Sevron template and make it their own template which then can be used to create assessments from.

Currently, Sevron templates are uneditable, and if users wish to have an editable template assessment, they will have to copy it from the original Sevron template first.
