Who this is for: The assigned auditor.
Work through these in order.
1. The Audit Checklist is incomplete. The Review & Publish step shows an Audit Checklist with a green tick or a red warning against each section of the audit. Under the heading "Complete the sections below before this audit can be published", each incomplete section gets its own red card naming exactly what is missing and a link straight to it — for example:
Checklist — Risk Rating, C / NC, Score missing on 7 clause(s) Go to Checklist →
Follow the link, fill in what it names, and come back. Confirm and Continue stays disabled until every section passes.
2. A finding is missing required evidence. Where the template requires objective evidence — or a photograph — every finding must have it before the audit can publish. Check each finding.
3. Publish Audit is disabled on the publish form. If the audit's owner was changed through Change Audit Owner, go to the Audit Details step and reselect the Audit Owner, then return to the publish form. This releases the button.
4. The audit is Blocked. An issue has been raised. Only the audit owner can resolve it, and until they do, publishing is paused. See 11.5.
5. The audit is For Review. It is with the technical reviewer. It publishes automatically when they approve.
6. The template requires a technical review and you have not requested one. You will see Request Review instead of a publish action. See 8.4.
7. You do not have Conduct Audits. Check with your administrator.
8. You are not the assigned auditor. Only the assigned auditor can publish.
